Special Needs
SCCEFC’s Special Needs Ministry supports individuals and families living with special needs and disabilities. We would love for every family to feel like they belong at SCCEFC. We have a special needs classroom, a parent support group, and volunteers to provide one-on-one support. If you and/or your loved one with special needs and disabilities would like to join the Special Needs Ministry, please fill out the intake form below or contact cheng.zhong@sccefc.ca.
Get Involved

Tasks & Responsibilities: Serve as a one-on-one helper (aide) for a child or youth with special needs. Help with small tasks and be a buddy during Sunday School classes.
Who can volunteer: Youth (ages 14) and up
Qualifications:
No specific previous experience needed
All volunteers in Childrens Ministry will need to complete Plan 2 Protect training
Police check required
Time Commitment: 1.5hrs/week for one month at a time, Sundays from 9:30-11:15am or 11-12:30pm. We’re also flexible at this time with what your schedule will allow!
